It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!
GIFT EXCHANGE 2023 - (CLOSED until next season)
This holiday season, LMM wants to help make even more connections with ladies around the Midwest—and beyond. What better way to do just that and spread some holiday cheer…? A gift exchange!
This is year number 3 of this gift exchange. There have been over 50 ladies who participated from Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Iowa, Idaho, Missouri, Kansas, Arkansas, Wyoming, South Dakota, Hawaii, and Canada. We hope you’ll join us this year to possibly add even more places to the list and make a new connection.
The process is quite simple. Please read the information below and follow the steps if you’re wanting to participate.
What you need to know before registering:
Participants must be 18+ years old
This gift exchange is open to women throughout the U.S. & Canada
Never been to an LMM? No problem, all are welcome to participate
Everyone participating will send and receive a gift
Spending limit of $20-$30 dollars
Each participant is required to pay the shipping cost
Each participant will use their own address when shipping the gift (if someone is not comfortable with this, we can provide an address as the host)
Each participant will fill out a gift exchange form, which acts as registration
Steps:
1. Register yourself
Registration is open from November 20th – November 26th
Click the register button at the bottom of the page to fill out the gift exchange info form. Please fill out the form completely and be as detailed as possible before submitting. Providing enough info/detail really helps your gift exchange partner have a better grasp on what to get you. Providing 1-2 sentences is NOT enough.
2. Random name picking
November 27th/ LMM will put all participant names into a random name generator to determine matches and will email each participant with the info for their gift exchange match (please keep it a secret!)
3. Time to Shop & Ship!
Everyone will have until Monday, December 18th to shop for and ship their gift. Gifts MUST be shipped out by the 18th. Please keep in mind that everyone will be sending and receiving a gift, so please be mindful to send your gift on time.

4. Share!
Once you receive your gift exchange package, OPEN IT and feel free to share it on social media. If you share it on your Instagram stories, tag @ladiesmidwestmeetup so we can share it! We plan to create a story highlight on our page to share all of the fun exchanges like we have the past 2 years.
Something fun to consider:
Since this gift exchange is about connecting with someone new, feel free to put a fun twist on your gift. You can still do this AND follow their list of interests/ideas. This is what we mean:
Put something in the gift that is specific to where you live or grew up
Add in a handmade item that relates to their interests
Add in a holiday card “introducing” yourself and sharing your social media handles to connect further
